This is a traditional charoset that is served at our Seders. My Mimi taught me to make this when I still had to stand on a chair to help in the kitchen.

4 cup apples, chopped (I always use granny smith apples)
1 cup walnuts, chopped
4 tsp sugar
4 tsp cinnamon
½ cup red Passover wine
Mix well in a bowl. Adjust taste to your liking. Chill overnight for best results.
Serves 10 – 14 people
